No mid-range wheels for 360?
Ive been looking for a while now for a wheel for F1 2011.
The market for xbox wheels seems to be appalling compared to PS3 and PC, im looking for a wheel with force feedback for around 90 quid. The only ones I can find are the cheap un-official ones with a bungee cord inside for between 30 - 60 quid, and the mentally expensive ones for 250+ which make you toast should you get a tad peckish during mid race.
Probably going to go with THIS one, but it doesnt have force feedback, which made a huge difference for me on GT5. I shaved off 2 - 3 seconds a lap just by being able to feel what the car was doing through the wheel.
Isnt released until mid october, which cuts it close to the season start date for a bit of offline training for me.

Your best bet is a genuine Microsoft xbox 360 wheel. they've got force feedback and are wireless, but you can only get them second hand.

CEX on Week Street do them every now and again for £45 but they go quick...

I did have a look at that one, but like you said they are difficult to get ahold of.
They were made back in 2008, but there still better than microsofts recent official wheel.
I pop in CEX now and again to see if they have one, might look online to see if they have any in stock in other stores.

Na just normal, Elite is another 150 euros and its made of carbon, and is a tad smaller. Doesnt seem worth it.
Managed to justify it as its cross platform with every console and pc.
Still not gonna win the league as I am apparently crap at F1 2011! Cant even turn a corner without spinning.

£216 ouch! But jealous, I was really thinking about get a Fanatec wheel but couldn't justify the price and went for a 2nd hand MS wheel.

Was more like 256 after bad exchange rate and delivery.
When it says includes VAT plus delivery, means that delivery is extra...
Bad german.
I do like that stand, did ponder it, but think the Mrs would cut my jacobs off if I spent any more.
