RACE 4 REPORT AND RESULT - ISTANBUL

TURKISH DELIGHT FOR BANNBINO AS HE PROVES TOO SWEET FOR ADMAN11!

Race 4 – Turkey – Pole = bannbino – Toro Rosso 1:26.313

With bannbino and the next 5 drivers all beating last seasons pole time of 1.28.877 this was bound to be a close race with little room for mistakes. The calibre so far this season has risen to new heights with teams ploughing more time, money and effort in than ever before!

The two hot tips for this seasons championship bannbino and R0ckeye lined up 1 and 2 on the grid after a toight qualy session... this continued into the race when R0ckeye (according to on-board video evidence) gave bannbino a hefty love tap at turn 1, which prompted what could only be described as a mixed donner... a right fucking Turkish mess!

With the track drier than your standard Christmas turkey it was a surprise to see so many affected by the first corner mayhem. It was squeak83 who seemed to benefit most with a rise from sixth on the grid to first after turn 1!

There were plenty caught up in the mix after CNUTHOOKS had barged Villa John right off the track with Hypno85 and Cheeseman69Boi also ending up in the cat litter. With a few F’s, C’s, W’s, T’s and the odd MF aired over the team radio’s things started to settle down... a little.

With a few more place changes all round bannbino continued to press his way back up the order, not without a few shaves with Tempy303 for which bannbino duly apologised for each time. The phrase “sorry Paul” however seemed to have less and less sincerity each time it was used!

But lap 2 was the turn of bannbino himself to have his back doors smashed in after a domino effect saw Cheeseman69boi tap Villa John who then went into bannbino at the tight right.

That prompted some close racing for the remainder of the lap which saw Villa John lose 3rd place to Cheeseman69boi after some close contact. The end of the lap seemed to still be covered in kebab grease as Villa John spun at the last corner which prompted words not even the local Turkish TV station could broadcast!

ADMAN11 was out in front at this point with Tempy303 right up his chuff with another two behind all wanting a piece. Lap 4 raised stewards eyebrows as CNUTHOOKS appeared to be up to his ‘Schumacher tricks’ after coming off the racing line to block bannbino after his attempt to come up his inside... can’t blame him really! Whay!

Much of the middle of the race saw ADMAN11 out in front, but not quite able to build on his lead. With R0ckeye, Tempy303 and bannbino all within 4 seconds of him there was plenty at stake.

The beginning of lap 10 saw bannbino take advantage of Tempy303 running wide after some patient pressing. But it was lap 11 where R0ckeye lost his nerve after a long intense battle with ADMAN11 which saw him spin and lose position to bannbino. Thanks to that battle it only left him around 3 seconds behind ADMAN11 to setup a tasty final lap.

Nerves started to kick in as bannbino was gaining! He had nothing to lose as he tried put off ADMAN11 with a bit of radio banter... and it worked! With only a few corners to go bannbino squeezed up the inside and somehow managed to get a steady enough exit to hold onto 1st and cross the line for another win! As Turkish once said in Snatch it looked like bannbino had taken the jam out of ADMAN11’s doughnut!

ADMAN11 rolled in 0.3 seconds behind in 2nd with R0ckeye taking a deserved 3rd place. Squeak83 managed to gain 4th while Tempy303 was unlucky to finish 5th after being in the mix for so much of the race. Cheeseman69boi finished 6th and continues to threaten the top order while Villa John settled for 7th after a poor performance and reigning world champion CNUTHOOKS didn’t show much of last season’s ever present consistency.

Oh and should have guessed the song in the race vid! Next time we'll all chip in and get send you for a Turkish massage so you can rub it in even further!!!

You n00b steve lol. Good write up John but not sure why you think I took you out at the first corner - someone "smashed me in the shit box" and into Hypno at the first corner don't recall you being in there? Anyway I drove shit in that race
