RACE 5 AND 6 RACE REPORT AND RESULTS
PACIFIC FOX AND BANNBINO REIGN IN SPAIN AS THE RAIN IN SPAIN FALLS MAINLY ON THE TRACK

Race 5 = Spain (Barcelona)
Some bizarre weather forecasting left the teams very confused when a predicted dry qualy actually turned out to be wet. The teams struggled to get any pace until the last few minutes of the session when Pacifix Fox took advantage of a drying circuit to post a 1.23.549 only to see Widge on his last run take pole by 200ths of a second. The race was no different with a dry start followed by rain later which really mixed up the field with teams not sure what tyres to put their drivers on - stay on the slicks or switch to inters?

Pitting at the right time seemed crucial and some teams got it right others didn't. In the end we didn't see a 6th different winner and Pacific Fox notched up win no.3 for the season, with Bannbino taking 2nd. Widge took 3rd to keep in touching distance of the front 2. Marchin Sausage made it a good weekend for team points as R0ckeye failed to turn up again, Pacifix Fox not wishing to comment as to why. Sheepie UK took 5th after again battling with Adman who had to settle for 6th. Iregretnothing came in 7th with bsheepie 8th and SnowBone the last of the finishers in 9th. Sculi88 crashed out.

BANNBINO CLAIMS EL CLASSICO IN JEREZ
Race 6 = Spain (Jerez)
The first of season 6's classic races saw the teams head to Jerez, not uknown to them as it's where the first testing of the new cars usually takes place. But for all the drivers it was a track they hadn't done before and so a lot of unknowns. It was clear from qualy that tyre wear was going to be an issue and so it proved as two stops were required for all teams except for Rocket Fox Racing deciding to keep Pacific Fox to one stop which cost them the win.

Apart from the teams having to 2 stop, some had issues getting into the pits especially Marchin Sausage and Sheepie UK the latter having to do an extra lap due to missing the turn in. In the end Bannbino had his strategy right getting in front to take the win with Pacific Fox hanging on for 2nd with Widge getting 3rd again to remind them it's not just a 2 way fight for the title.
Above: Double Spanish podium for Widge keeps him in the hunt
Best of the rest was Marchin Sausage in 4th which sees the reigning champs hold onto to the lead in the team title. Iregretnothing got a season best finish so far in 5th, with Sheepie UK yet again swapping paint with Adman to take 6th with Adman in 7th and Bsheepie bringing up the rear in 8th.
