RACE 7 REPORT AND RESULT - CANADA

Yup according to Kevin "Bloody" Wilson you can't say c*nt in canada. But with Bernie turning on full race rules and flags after an overwhelming majority it seemed that didn't stop any first corner shenanigans and the taboo word was certainly in full use straight away. Onboard footage (to follow) shows that the first driver to forget that a full tank of fuel and cold tyres don't mix was R0ckeye. Spinning into the right hander just at the pit exit he narrowly avoided Squeak83 and smashed into Villa John. Squeak83 must have lost concentration as just as the right hander turns he then spun and bannbino, right behind tried to go behind Squeak instead of driving towards only for Squeaks momentum to carry the car backward and bannbino had no where to go. Cheesman69Boi after an impressive pole lap was already off into the distance as Hypno85 gladly accepted 2nd with Sheepie UK slipping in behind into 3rd. Satak0 up into 4th because of the clashes then made a schoolboy error also on cold tyres spinning out at the very next S chicane. Villa John had somehow recovered from the clash with R0ckeye with no damage as he then charged up behind Sheepie UK and easily took him going under the bridge. But the right hander after the bridge can spit you out if you take too much kerb and that's exactly what it did to Villa John and some classic footage shows him spinning out into the opposite wall. Adman11 then wanted a piece of Sheepie and the pair clashed on the deep right hand turn that leads onto the long straight. So much action and not even a lap done yet! That wasn't the end of it, Satak0 with damage from the earlier spin didn't even make it back to the pits - video didn't capture the moment but a further spin damaged the car beyond repair and may become the first driver to DNF before completing a lap! R0ckeye recovered from the first corner spin and was chasing Sheepie UK down from 4th when he spun and lost places promoting Tempy303 upto 4th.
Lap4 saw Hypno clip the wall on the left at turn 2 giving Sheepie UK 2nd place. The end of lap 5 saw the pit window open and the top 5 all came in and all came out in the same place. On lap 10 with Hypno all over the shitbox gearbox of Sheepie UK, Sheepie UK came on the pit radio to report a problem with his accelerator pedal and that he coudln't get it fully depressed. The word from the team was to stay out and not come in to the pits. But with speed and time being lost he had no choice but to let Hypno pass as he managed to then get it sorted. Bemoning his luck especially with Bannbino way back in 6th, Hypno made a mistake at the S Chicane where Villa John had lost it, the yellows came out as Sheepie UK raced through them and knew he coudln't overtake and was waiting for the greens to go as he pulled up right alongside Hypno when the greens were waved but ran out of road and outbroke himself into the tight right hander giving 2nd place back to Hypno. He held it together past the "wall of champions" to hold onto 2nd, with Cheeseman69Boi taking his maiden F1 win by just over 10 seconds with a great drive, Sheepie UK getting some much needed poitns in 3rd with Tempy303 a creditable 4th from R0ckeye in 5th and Bannbino struggling again in Canada having to settle for 6th. Squeak83 took 7th, Adman 8th, bsheepie 9th and Villa John with his team running out of nose cones and having to almost peddle the car over the line for 10th.

Lovely write up, Sheepie. Nice and prompt! Not enough talk of me for my liking though! I'll have to remedy that next time.

BTW, r0ckeye had some help in his turn 1 spin as my onboard shows. Head naughty boy was trying to win the race at the first corner!!

What did everyone make of the 'enhanced' rules? sounds like bsheepie was a bit unlucky...

Onboard footage will prove otherwise... it felt like a love tap from the rear left and the video confirms this is the case!

I think the love tap only came from R0ckeye moving from right to left in the breaking zone!!
