CHEESMAN TAKES THE WIN TO CLAIM THE RUNNER-UP SPOT AND MOST WINS OF SEASON 2

Season 1 saw the closest ever finish in Brazil with just 20 seconds seperating the 1st to last. With 36 laps scheduled for season 2 would it turn out the same? An extremley close qualy session saw Cheesman take another pole but only just. His time of 1:09.058 was enough to hold off Bannbino who recorded a 1:09.283.
3rd-6th were only seperated by 400ths of a second with Satak0 bringing up the rear with a 1:13. A bizzare incident occrued in qualy though. Adman11, with 2nd spot to fight for and Bsheepie both left the track to smash their cars at the same time but at different points of the circuit. Luckily times had already been set and Adman started 6th with Bsheepie 9th just 4000ths behind his brother Sheepie UK.

And so to the race. The weather had turned and it was raining which certainly made it interesting. Inters were order of the day as the teams headed into turn 1. Squeak 83 making a rare appearence got his braking points all wrong in the Renault and went straight on. A few received drive through penalties, Adman11 being one of them. Positions chopped and changed and at around lap 12/13 the inters starting to wear off meaning cars having to pit early (although some had to earlier after sustaining front wing damage) Luckily the pit stops coincided with the rain easing and drying up so teams took the opportunity to put the primes on to hopeully last the remaining 24 laps. It seemed to pay off for most, though A few driver mistakes cost them dear, Adman admiiting halfway through that he'd "fucked it". And as the line got drier and drier some of the back markers were being lapped. 36 laps done and Cheesman took win number 8 to claim most wins and the runner up spot. Hypno85 who has to be the most improved driver from season 1 took 2nd from new champion Bannbino by only 2 seconds to cement 3rd place in the championship. Sheepie UK claimed 4th after having R0ckeye behind him for some 10 laps before managing to pull away and claim 5th in the Championship. Squeak83 making a rare appearence took 5th and missing 10 races has cost him. R0ckeye took 7th in the race to claim 6th overall for season 2 and must surely be left thinking as to what might have been having missed 6 races this season. Adman who has been the best of the rookies and had a great season came in 7th in the race to get 4th overall. Bsheepie took 8th and will be disappointed to only finish 10th overall. Satak0 who has been improving all the time seem to struggle in the wet to come in 9th but an impressive 8th overall. Bringing up the rear and admitting "having the worst race of his life" Tempy303 came in last to claim 7th overall in the championship. Villa John who decided to quit due to "stress" reasons claims 9th in the table with AWOL Eaglejay propping up the table in 12th.

So Brazil brings the curtain down on an entertaining season in more ways then one as the teams and drivers take a well deserved break.

Until next time........ drunken
