BANNBINO OFF TO A FLYER AS TEAMS STRUGGLE WITH SETUPS

So season 3 has seen the current world champion carry on from last season, picking up two victories in the opening 2 races. He had to fight for the wins though and a controversial clash on the last lap of Melbourne with R0ckeye who was leading the race 3 corners from the end, saw Bannbino snatch the win with R0ckeye ending up 5th. Video replays though showed that R0ckeye had gone off into the gravel and veer back onto the track straight into Bannbino's path and damage his Williams, coming off at subsequent corners before the end to lose even more places. R0ckeye will point towards a few "love taps" up the rear preceeding the clash but he was still in front at the point until his mistake. With Teams now an important part, Bannbino's team mate Villa John had a good couple of races to put Softly softly catchy monkey on top in the team table. Despite R0ckeye's 1st race, both he and Easy Target team mate Squeak83 were conistent in both races getting two 3rd's and two 5th's to see them in 2nd place. Season 1 Champion Sheepie UK partnered with his brother Bsheepie was frustrated in Melbourne seeing his brother and team mate DSQ'd by the stewards due to repeated incidents, bsheepie aftewards denying any wrong doing though did admit to "a few corner cuts" Evil or Very Mad Scuderia Sheepwash still picked up 41 points in the 2 races to see them 3rd in the table. Elsewhere rookie team and drivers Back Grid Boys made an impressive start, With Azaxir the best performer gettng 6th in Malaysia with Snuffkin failing to finish but still collecting 31 points to sit 4th better then some of the more seasoned drivers. The Rucking Funts and Schumacher me sick are tied on 30 points with the funts of Adman11 and Tempy303 not having the best of starts, setups seemingly being the issues. Rookie Dantheman making his debut picked up 2nd and fastest lap in Melbourne for an impressive start for Schumacher me sick but Dan failed to finish in Malaysia which surely would have seem them further up the table though EagleJay picked up valuble points in both. Spunky UK making his return from dust carts partnering newbie Enkidu for team Bring Back Tyrrell seemed to struggle in both races. Spunky UK complaining of lack of performance from the Virgin and clearly both of them need to work on setting the car up before race day. Bottom of the table is Team Bennetton though this was not surprising seeing as Satak0's team mate, Hypno85, was unable to make the races due to technical issues. Hypno85 has stated that he will definately be on the grid next tuesday for China and Turkey.

So as the teams head over to China and Turkey lets take a look at what they can expect.

RACE 3 - CHINA

Season 2 Winner = Squeak83
Season 1 Winner = Bannbino

The China GP is currently held at the Shanghai International Circuit, Shanghai, designed by Hermann Tilke. When completed in 2004, it was the most expensive Formula One circuit facility, costing $240 million.
The track is 5.451 km long and features one of the trickiest corners combinations on the Formula One calendar, comparable to that of Istanbul Park's turn 8, also designed by Tilke. Turn 1 and 2 are a very demanding 270 degree, right-handed corner combination that requires a lot of speed whilst entering and it tightens up towards the end.

Let's see a lap around the Shanghai circuit:

RACE 4 - TURKEY

Season 2 Winner = Bannbino
Season 1 Winner = Bannbino

The Istanbul Park racing circuit is one of only five circuits that runs anticlockwise. The circuit and its facilities were designed by the well-known racetrack architect Hermann Tilke, who said he designed the track to try to catch the drivers out. Turn 8 (nicknamed "Diabolica" by some in reference to Monza's Curva Parabolica) particularly caught the imagination. The corner is a fast, sweeping corner with four apexes, similar to one of the multi-apex sections of the old Nürburgring. Spectators and drivers alike raved about Turn 8, comparing it to legendary corners such as Eau Rouge and 130R. Bannbino will head into the race having won both previous season's races here so surely will be one of the favourites. But with KERS and DRS now in the mix who will get their setup right to maximise the cars performance.
