TITLES UP FOR GRABS IN BRAZIL AND INDIA............

So as we head to the final few races of season 3, many are hoping it will all come down to the 100%'er at Abu Dhabi but we could be crowning our driver and team champions on Tuesday 13th. On the drivers title, R0ckeye currently leads the way with 260 points with DantheMan in 2nd with 224 and one more win with 5 to his name. 3rd and knowning he needs to get at least one win in either Brazil or India is Squeak83 with 217. Season 1 champion Sheepie UK currently lies in 4th on 185 and would need 3 wins and the top 3 to not finish to get 260 points.......

As far as the team title goes, it's as good as Easy Targets. They are 106 points in front and surely must see the chequered flag now. The fight goes on for runners-up with DBA's in 2nd with 371 and Scuderia Sheepwash in 3rd on 321 - this would have been more had it not been for Sheepie UK's performances in the last outings. A very outside chance is Team Bennetton on 296 but will certainly be fighting all the way.

Lets have a preview then on Brazil and India.....

RACE 17 - BRAZIL

Season 2 Winner = Cheesman69Boi
Season 1 Winner = Tempy303

Generally known by its original name of Interlagos, the home of the Brazilian Grand Prix has its detractors, but there is no denying that it provides a tough examination of both driver and car. The circuit consists of a blend of medium and slow speed corners, long, fast straights and gradient changes.

Built on land that was deemed unsuitable for housing, Interlagos has long been notorious as a bumpy circuit although much of those problems appear to have been resolved following resurfacing of the track in 2007.

The best place to overtake in theory is Descida do Lago, the lowest point of the circuit, and drivers reach it anxious to make a move. Trouble is, it can be slippery offline into this negative camber corner.

RACE 18 - INDIA

New Track - No previous winners

Located about 60 kilometres from New Delhi, gradient changes are high on the agenda and four million cubic tons of earth were moved to achieve the Buddh International Circuit. The track rises by 14 metres between Turns 1 and 3, a tricky right-hander which the drivers turn into unsighted. Meanwhile, long straights terminate with wide corners entries offering a choice of lines and the possibility of overtaking. However, the most memorable part of the circuit is likely to be the ‘mini-arena’ formed by the slightly banked, double-apex Turn 10/11. Compromise is necessary to get the best out of the mix of long straights, tight corners and fast bends when it comes to set-up.

So there we go - will we have our driver and team champions crowned come Tuesday ?

We have to wait and see.......as always CU Next Time........ Very Happy
