TON UP FOR BANNBINO AS HE MAKES IT A CLEAN SWEEP

Season 2 champion Bannbino continued his winning start with 2 more wins in China and Turkey last time out. Coupled with the fact team mate Villa John is also on bistering form 4th in the drivers championship at present, sees Softly Softly Catchy Monkey out in front in the team title too. But Season 1 Champion Sheepie UK is hot on the heels of Bannbino and believes he can get some wins in the next races. "He's beatable, I was only 3 seconds behind in Turkey. The next two races aren't his favourites, I've won in Spain before and narrowly missed out on wins in Monaco. The cars going well and I feel much better then last season, but of course with Monaco, to finish first, first you have to finish" Indeed. More on that later. Easy Target continue to be consistant lying in 2nd place but some 47 points adrift but Squeak and R0ckeye have been right up there and R0ckeye is the king of Monaco so will be expecting to do well there.
In 3rd and only 5 points behind Easy Target come Scuderia Sheepwash. Bsheepie managing to finish both races last time out but Monaco isn't one of his favourites and crashed out in season 1. Sheepie UK has been in some great form picking up 3 2nd's and will be looking to turn them into wins sooner rather then later. In 4th place are Schumacher me sick with both DantheMan and EagleJay picking up points in both races last time out. 5th are the Rucking Funts who by their own admission just aren't at the races with setups at the moment. Tempy currently sits above Adman11 in the driver standings and Adman will hope to recapture the form that saw him challenging at the top last season.
6th in the team standings are the Back Grid boys, who would surely be further up but for some technical issues - both cars failing to finish together in a race so far yet. Azaxir and Snufkinn will hopefully get better luck in Spain and Monaco. In 7th is Bring Back Tyrrell who will be hit in the next 2 races as Spunky UK has other committments. A replacement is frantically being sought but so far no luck. Sheepie UK will be happy as he had strong words in the pits after qualy in China with him as it appeared he delibarately rammed him off the track coming out of the pits. Enkidu though has been finishing the races and picking up points. In last are Team Benneton and another team yet finish a race with both cars. In China and Turkey Satak0 seemed to get it all wrong crashing out both times and failing to get points. Hypno85 picked up 20 points to kick start his season and surely will be challenging in the coming races.

So now the teams head to Spain and Monaco, will Bannbino maintain his 100% start? Lets take a look at what the teams can expect........

RACE 5 - SPAIN

SEASON 2 WINNER = Bannbino
SEASON 1 WINNER = Sheepie UK

Race 5 heads to Catalunya. Built in 1991 at Barcelona, this track is the usual testing ground of the teams for pre-season. A very fast track with some tight turns and a very tricky S chicane just before the start/finish line but a lot more forgiving then in previous seasons should you kerb it too much. With the DRS zone down the star/finish straight this should see some close racing.

Here is a track map overview:

Lets see a lap around the track.....

RACE 6 - MONACO

SEASON 2 WINNER = R0ckeye
SEASON 1 WINNER = R0ckeye

Monaco - the one all the drivers want to win. And R0ckeye has won on both previous visits and will want the hatrick. But with 23 laps to contend with and two pit stops - tactics and avoidance of the armcove will play a big part - have all the teams got an endless supply of front wings? Very Happy

Run since 1929, it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world, alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The circuit has been called "an exceptional location of glamour and prestige".

The race is held on a narrow course laid out in the streets of Monaco, with many elevation changes and tight corners as well as a tunnel, making it one of the most demanding tracks in Formula One. In spite of the relatively low average speeds, it is a dangerous place to race. It is the only Grand Prix that does not adhere to the FIA's mandated 305 km minimum race distance.

Here is the layout:

Lets see the legend Senna take us round the circuit for a retro look.....

So how many of the runners will finish at Monaco? Can R0ckeye make it 3 out 3 there? Can anyone stop Bannbino's 100%?

As always.......CU Next Time........ Laughing
