TON UP FOR BANNBINO BUT CHEESMAN SHOWS HE IS BEATABLE

As we reach the halfway point, Bannbino holds a 29 point lead at the top with 100 points accumalated so far. But in the previous races, others showed that he won't have it all his own way. Struggling for grip in Canada, and only getting 6th, he did take the win in Valenica but had a hard fought race with Cheesman69Boi at Silverstone who's pace blew the rest off the track. So the drivers hoping to put the pressure on the current leader are Cheesman in 2nd place with 71 points, Rookie Adman11 still showing no fear of mixing it up and that he is a real contender in 3rd but also with 71 points. 4th sees last season's champion Sheepie UK showing better form of late with 70 points and Hypno85 5th but also with 70. Squeak83 is in 6th place with 62 points but will miss the next 3 races due to an unknown illness called "In-Law-Itis" and his absence will surely finish off his chances of a challenge not only for the title but possible the money slots. 7th is R0ckeye with 56 points having missed 2 of the last 3 races. 8th is Tempy303 with 52 points but is struggling of late and needs to regain his form and concentration blaming rookies for some of the issues. 9th is bsheepie with 45 points and is hoping for a turn of fortunes to get him up amongst the challengers. 10th is Villa John on 42 points and by his own admission is having a poor season considering his late form of season 1. Satak0 is 11th on 27 points but certainly in the last few races has shown his getting to grips with the pressures and skills needed for F1 racing and could really be in the mix over the coming races. Poor old EagleJay lies last in 12th with only 7 points and needs to turn up in the first place to expect any points.
So as we sweep accross Europe like jackboots once did, we head to Germany, Hungary and Belgium which is sure bring some fast furious action. Lets preview in more detail...........

RACE 10 = GERMANY. Season 1 Winner - Hypno85

The circus heads to Hockenheim for the last time before the Nurburgring takes over as Germany's GP.
A fast flat circuit, it was the scene of Hypno85's maiden win. It was also the scene of Bannbino's worse ever finish in 7th, having to pit a few times and was lucky not to total his car having gone into the wall at turn 1 while in 3rd.

Lets ride onboard with Sebastian Vettel to show us how it's done:

RACE 11 = HUNGARY. Season 1 Winner - R0ckeye

Last season this race had to be re-arranged and put towards the end due to technical issues. When we did race it brought up loads of close racing all the way through the grid. A twisty bumpy circuit, turn 1 saw the usual incidents which saw Sheepue UK "smashed up the shitbox" and into Bannbino which saw them both off, Squeak83 later denying any involvment despite what the video footage showed. R0ckeye went onto take the win with Sheepie UK and Tempy303 coming over the line wheel to wheel with Tempy just taking it.

Here's the highlights from last season.........

RACE 11 = SPA. Season 1 Winner - Sheepie UK

Race 11 sees the teams head to a drivers favourite to the beautiful setting of Spa in the Ardennes forest. A fast circuit with not many ideal spots for overtaking and the infamous "bus stop" chicane, Season 1 saw Sheepie UK take his 2nd career win. Turn 1, La Source is notorious for pile ups and the Kent 360 drivers didn't dissapoint. The fingers pointed at Rick7363 who didn't even seem to brake as he took most of the grid off with him. Pit stop strategy plays a big part here and Sheepie UK managed to get out infront of Bannbino on the undercut, but Bannbino was gaining on the leader only for Bannbino to hit technical difficulties and forced to retire from the race. Sheepie UK will be hoping for a repeat performance as will Villa John who gained a fantastic 3rd here. R0ckeye will also be hoping for better luck having also retired due to tech issues.

Lets see Webber do a lap at race pace.......

So Cheeseman has shown the way on beating Bannbino but if he keeps his consistency Canada apart, he will surely maintain the gap behind him. Will the weather play a part or will pit crews cost the points?
Lets get it on........ CU Next time Very Happy
