SEASON 1 REACHES THE HALFWAY POINT AS F1 COMES HOME

As we reach the halfway mark, it's all to play for with 6 drivers still in the shout for the number 1 title. Sheepie UK leads the way on 80 points, with Bannbino 2nd on 75 and 3rd place is tied with Squeak83 and Tempy303 on 65. 5th is Bsheepie on 59 and is hoping to rediscover his early season form in the next two races. R0ckeye is the 6th driver in the hunt on 55 points with 2 wins from his 6 races having missed the opening two and is in the assendency. Further down the table Romans Wallet annoucned earlier this week that due to the collapse of his sponsorship deals the he can no longer continue this season. He has been plagued by technical problems from the season start. Spunky UK is struggling to get to the grid with prior commitments possibly taking control. Hypno85, DJ Noely Vila John and Rick7363 all looking to gain some ground on the leaders. Races 9 and 10 mark the halfway stage with the European round on the street circuit of Valencia, a fast sweeping circuit with some tight corners through the harbour with limited overtaking as Mark Webber found to his cost last season:



Race 10 sees F1 come home to where it all began - Silverstone. The new redesigned circuit is a challenging one where if your not 100% concentrating can see drivers end off wide into the gravel. Add to the mix the typical unpredictable British weather and it's sure to be a great race.
